Forging Foraging
There is a little organism that needs to find food.
It can see, it can move, but it needs your help.
Build its nervous system so it can forage effectively.
As it grows, it will need more food, so its nervous system needs to get better as well.
Click and drag to create a connection between neurons: With these connections you can make one neuron activate another,
Use E, I, P and S to create new neurons with different properties.
See if you can figure out what those properties are in-game, otherwise see below for an explanation.
---
[E]xcitatory neurons excite other neurons, and make them more active. These are the most abundant neurons in the brain.
[I]nhibitory neurons do the opposite, they make other neurons less active.
[P]acemaker neurons are neurons that are always active- unless, of course, inhibited by others.
[S]ensory neurons give information about the world, place them to expand your vision cone.

Good concept and good mechanics. Wished the neuron types are clearer from the description.
The game graphics are too small and didn't work well for me at the moment.
For some of the lines, when connected from left to right, cannot be disconnected from right to left.
The following error screen is also provided for your reference. The text could not be copied onto the clipboard although I tried to copy it again.
Hi, thank you so much for playing and finding this bug for me! I've fixed it, and also positioned the motor neurons a little further away from the sensory neurons and zoomed the view in. Does it look better now?
If possible, it would be much better if the font size is larger and the square could be much bigger. I don't think placing the motor neurons too far away from the square would work well. It's easy for people to miss them if they're at the bottom edge and the square is at the top.
So far, I have 'programmed' the character using E,S, P neurons only, as I wasn't sure what I neurons do.
I cannot make the square and the font both much larger, or they will overlap. I have made both a little larger.
I shouldn't put more text on screen I think, so I've explained the neuron types a little in the description.
No problem, the proportions are much better now!
